The Story of a Garden - Celebrate World Habitat Day with this inspiring conversation about The Story of a Garden, a beautiful tale written by Grainne O’Neil from the unique perspective of the Garden itself. Grainne shares her journey in the zero-waste movement and her experience in the Artitude Storytelling for Change masterclass, which inspired the creation of this work. • 15th October - International Repair Day

The Story of a Jumper - For International Repair day, join us for a conversation with Marcella Di Palo, Network Weaver at Repair Cafés NI and author of The Story of a Jumper—a touching tale of reuse and repair told from the perspective of the jumper itself. Marcella shares her passion for repair, reflecting on her role with Repair Cafés NI and her dedication to giving objects a second life. Not only is Marcella committed to the repair and reuse of everyday items, she also champions community, sustainability, and the values of care and connection that underpin the repair movement.

On 28 September,  Attitude partnered with The Metropolitan Arts & Cultural Centre (The MAC) and our member, Tools for Solidarity, to deliver Mend at The MAC, a Textile Repair Café and exhibition. The event invited participants to bring garments for free repair or learn practical skills such as hemming, darning, and visible mending at one of the four mending clinics. Alongside the hands-on clinics, visitors experienced Threads of Change: The Future of Sustainable Fashion exhibition and a screening of Story of a Jumper, celebrating creative approaches to reuse and repair.  46 People attended, with many learning new skills at the mending clinics, and numerous garments and accessories repaired at the drop in repair cafe.
