Circular Communities: The Real Power Behind the Circular Economy

Held at Owenkillew Development in Gortin on International E-Waste Day, our conference theme was “Circular Communities: Connecting People to Create Change.” Our goal was simple: to connect the incredible people working on the ground, the unsung heroes inspiring reuse and repair in our local communities.

The event ice breaker, Circular Conversations, immediately sparked new connections and ideas, proving that when community groups, social enterprises, local authorities, and charities come together, real conversations drive practical and vital solutions.

“It’s one of the only conferences I’ve been to where people were really excited to connect. We were also made to feel at ease, which made it a lot easier!”
