Our Work

Introduction

We believe in a better way of living and working together. Our focus is on reuse and repair as meaningful ways to reduce waste and use resources more thoughtfully. By extending the life of products and materials, we are helping to create a more sustainable future for everyone. Our members take part in a wide range of activities, including repair cafes, tool libraries, food banks, and the sharing of pre loved furniture and clothing. These practical actions support a shift from a linear model of production and consumption towards a more sustainable circular economy.

Bicycles

Got a broken bike collecting dust? Or maybe you are in the market for a new one? We have a solution that is good for both your wallet and the planet.

Clothing and Textiles

Rethink your relationship with clothes. Repairing and reusing are two of the most effective ways to fight back against fast fashion and its devastating impact on our planet.

Food

Tackle food waste and climate change through community fridges and food banks. They rescue perfectly good food and share it within the community so it can be enjoyed rather than wasted

Plastic

"Pesky" plastic does not breakdown, it hangs around in our environment for hundreds of years. Reuse to cut down on waste and microplastic pollution.

WEEE

Give new life to old tech by repairing it! Reducing e-waste is crucial, as these devices contain toxic substances that harm our planet.

Repair Week

NI is the first region to host a Repair Week. An important step in raising awareness of repair and its role in keeping cherished and useful items in use for longer
