Tully Meadow Men’s Shed is a vibrant community hub for men and women to come together for social and practical activities in their shared space in Augher. The site hosts a community garden and a large shed kitted out as a workshop, where they imaginatively reuse scrap wood and metal to create bespoke furniture. When crafting beautiful pieces, they also play a vital part in their local community, offering a helping hand with local repairs.
The team hosts DIY workshops and sewing lessons, and they held their first mini repair cafe for Repair Week NI in March 2025, where the team repaired small household items, textiles, and bicycles. There is also a community library on site where donated books can be borrowed for free.
The team welcomes visitors to the shed and community garden, and they even hosted TV personality Joe Mahon as he toured the Clogher Valley for his Mahon’s Way series!
Want to see it for yourself? Their next repair cafe is on Saturday, 27th September. Bring your broken furniture or household items, have a chat, and see what this amazing team is all about!
