Dromore Repair Cafe
A big warm welcome to Dromore Repair Cafe. George recently met with Marie Cassells to discuss how we can support their mission by reducing waste through repair, and we are proud to have the Dromore team on board. We will be visiting their upcoming session in February and March to meet their brilliant volunteer fixers and the local repair community.
Banbridge Men’s Shed
George also visited the team at Banbridge Men’s Shed. This incredible group offers a welcoming environment for men to socialise while putting their practical skills to work. Whether they are fixing old furniture or sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, the Shed is actively tackling social isolation and supporting male mental health in Banbridge. The members play a significant role in promoting reuse and repair.
It is fantastic to have both of these organisations join our network. Their commitment to the circular economy and community well-being is inspiring, and we look forward to working alongside them.
