Life Cycles is a social enterprise committed to sustainability, wellbeing, and social inclusion through cycling. Founded by Monica Downey, the organisation began with a vision to make cycling accessible to all whilst promoting waste reduction and tackling transport inequality.
Located within the Derry Train Station, Life Cycles collect unwanted and discarded bikes and give them a new lease of life through repair and refurbishment. Our qualified mechanics, supported by volunteers and trainees, ensure these bikes are safe, reliable, and ready to be rehomed.
