Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are hosting a Reuse and Repair Fayre

Don’t throw away your faulty or damaged pre-loved items.

Whether it’s learning stitching up a favourite sweater, or fixing your bike, we’re here to help you extend the lifespan of your favourite belongings.

Stall holders will include:

  • Textiles stalls for the public (free of charge)
  • FREE Textile repair workshops with Make it Fab Belfast
    • Patchwork repair session 10:30-11:30am
    • Hand stitching repair session 11:30am – 12:30pm
  • FREE Bike repair area by East Belfast Mission
  • Repair Café – Antrim and Newtownabbey
  • Antrim Tool Library
  • The Shed Antrim
  • Information stands from NI Resources Network,  Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council Sustainability, Community Planning and Environmental Health Sections

 

Where: The Junction, 111 Ballymena Road, Antrim BT11 4LL

When:  Friday 7 March 10am – 1pm

Activity: Repair Café

Repair Café Antrim & Newtownabbey are hosting a Repair Café. Bring along your broken items and let our skilled fixers see if they can bring them back to life. You can bring clothing, accessories, toys, textiles, ornaments, bicycles, mechanical items, small electricals, and other odds and ends. Or just drop by for a cuppa, a bun, and a friendly chat!
