How to set up and run a Sharing Project

4 February 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free
Sharing projects, like libraries of things and tool libraries, have been running all over the world, offering an opportunity for people to borrow useful items, such as tools, toys, musical instruments, gardening equipment, household appliances and much more, at a low cost.
With many models and ways of operating, such initiatives can offer a real opportunity to support communities to thrive whilst being kinder to the planet.
In the UK, there are 50+ projects contributing to this global movement, and we want to support others who are considering setting up a similar initiative.
Join this event if you want to chat with people who have been through the ‘ins and outs’ of this journey.
>> Fri 4th Feb, from 12h to 1pm, you can talk with:
– Share Shed – A Mobile Library of things (shareshed.org.uk)
– Music Broth – Scotland’s Musical Instrument Library (musicbroth.org)
– Kloth Tool Library (kloth.org.uk)
– Benthyg Cymru – Wales’ Library of Things (benthyg-cymru.org)
